A 2011 Christmass Manifesto

Dear one(s):

Yesterday I went to a Night of worship at La Paz Community Church. Among the joy and adoration feelings, I post some thoughts and prayers in Twitter and Facebook. Here you have my complete prayers and thoughts, with some verses supporting them:

1) Heavenly Father, thanks for my bosses and those in authority at global, national and organizational level. Bless them and give them wisdom, inner peace and heal every hurt in their hearts.

(“Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.” Rom 13:1; “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.” 1Ti2:1-2)

2) Dear God, I feel so grateful for my colleagues and friends. May your will that our hearts will be united in peace, remembering that we are just human beings,

(“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed; if one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.” Ecle4:9-10; “Friends love through all kinds of weather” Pr17:17a; “Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. / If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” Ro 12:18)

3) I request for strength in every single second of their precious lives.

Always help them when they are in the deepest stages of their lives, because You show us that as there is a dark night also there is a majestic dawn.

(“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Pr3:5-6; “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Ro 8:28)

4) Give me leadership and wisdom to help and guide them. I really need wisdom to lead them with “humility, courage to lead with integrity and compassion to lead with generosity” (RW invocation). I recognize that I am lost without you, your enlightenment and your patience with my doubts, fears and mistakes.

(“I am like a little child who doesn’t know his way around. And here I am in the midst of your own chosen people… Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong.” 1Kings 3:7b-9a)

5) My heart rejoices in your love, because You has given to me a beauty family: Ro, MaPaz, LuisFe and Fran; my Mom, Patty, Vale and Caro; and my relatives.

(“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him” Psalm127:3; “The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord.” Pr18:22; “a brother is born to help in time of need.” Pr17:17)

6) Blessings for each one who's reading this post! Remember whose birth we are celebrating (Jesus one) which name spells as follows: L-O-V-E / H-O-P-E / J-O-Y / L-I-F-E (Choose at least one of them or add other word that fit in)

(“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life” John3:16)

Asking forgiveness, promising to make efforts to be better and recognizing the beauty of God’s creation in you (Yes, in you), let me wish you Merry Christmas for you and your families as we approach to the day that we remember when “God invaded the Earth.”

Sincerely,

Pablo
