and have finalized bequests to the following institutions.
The Dreyfoos School of the Arts is a tuition-free, donation-dependent public magnet high school. Its Music Department is recognized as one of the best high school programs in the United States. It offers concentrations in band, chorus, orchestra and piano. More than 20 different student ensembles, ranging from classical to jazz, are rehearsed and performed throughout the year.
We are fortunate to know many of the piano students who attend, or who have graduated from, the school. Not only excellent pianists, they are wonderful human beings: well-mannered, compassionate, hard-working, and fun to be with.
When we first toured the campus, we were struck by how happy the students appeared. That first impression has not changed over the years.
The Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience (MPFI)
The Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience (MPFI), a 501(c)3 not-for-profit research organization, is part of the world-renowned Max Planck Society, Germany’s most successful research organization with over 80 institutes worldwide. As its first U.S. institution, MPFI brings together exceptional neuroscientists from around the world to answer fundamental questions about brain development and function and to develop new technologies that make groundbreaking scientific discoveries possible.
