The Iseum of the Sisters of Isis has been founded by Rev. Stephanie Campbell

Sisters of Isis aim to create happiness, friendship, and understanding for all whose lives touch theirs. The Iseum is inclusive, not exclusive. Members rescue victims: men, women, children and animals who are used as scapegoats. Many vulnerable people are despised and belittled because of personal, racial, social, or religious differences. Telepathy, empathy, and spiritual insight are used by members to promote self-confidence, open-mindedness, and originality. This rainbow network unites beings of all worlds through love and wisdom.

New Grove in Salt Lake City Utah

A new grove of the Druid Clan of Dana has been founded in Utah by the ArchDruid Kasey Conder, Pr. H. of the Lyceum of Isis & Horus of the Horizons. It is dedicated to two goddesses, Isis and Uta, the Universal Mother of the White Mountain. The ArchDruidess deTraci Regula and Olivia Robertson gave the dedication in a ceremony in Salt Lake City.

I am delighted at the brilliant originality and cheerfulness that inaugurated the first Isis Fest--The participants were so young and energetic gave such hope as we prepare for 2012! The founder Kasey was a splendid Theseus in the Labyrinth Mystery in the FOI Liturgy, with deTraci Regula as a magnificent Ariadne. All participants enjoyed the talks, workshops, and the drama, so I hope return with deTraci in 2012!

I find that we were surrounded by Mountains, the Wasatch—one was Mt. Olympus, and above a vortex. Through a psychic contact I discovered the Goddess Uta Kale Ha of the Uti Tribe through her priestess.

I was so pleased to be part of the inaugurated Isis Fest with Kasey Conder’s group in Utah. I never expected such a richly diverse spiritual community in a place of dazzling natural beauty. Utah was compelling and different from what I had expected, all in good and surprising ways. I look forward to returning and exploring more of this beautiful place. We made good friends among the attendees who joyfully and wholeheartedly participated in the rites, workshops, and sacred drama. I am confident that next years festival will be even more enchanting.

There are those who founded teaching centres within the Fellowship of Isis before coursework, guidelines and regulations were implemented. In those years between their founding and the production of guidelines, regulations and courses, these centres have brought through others, who have founded their own centres, and in turn, teach in the same format. The question arose - are they valid? ALL training courses are valid. ALL centres have autonomy. Regulations and procedures are provided as guidelines, they are meant as suggestions. The ONLY basic requirements are teaching centres base their work on the F.O.I. Manifesto and the F.O.I. Liturgy. The Candidate using rites suggested in the coursework most helpful to his or her own chosen Path. The College of Isis being the exception, as guidelines were laid out upon the revival of the College as inspired by Isis.

“The Queen’s regulations are handrails, not handcuffs.” - General Sir Lawrence Parsons, grandfather of Lawrence Durdin-Robertson and Olivia Robertson. He burnt mounds of red tape in his day!

When members founded Lyceums, Iseums, Groves and Priories they did so in the understanding that their work, based on the F.O.I. Manifesto, had validity!

Since 1976 there have been many lists of requirements and regulations for the courses of various centres. However, the requirement for acceptance of the Manifesto is the only basic necessity to unite us all. Regulations multiply which is the usual order of Societies! As Lawrence Durdin-Robertson was wont to remind us: “In the beginning of Christianity, all members were called Saints. Now you need to have performed two miracles and to be dead to qualify!”

The time has come to be free from secrecy, binding vows and inflexible rules! Any coursework should be available to all sincere seekers. This is essential to preserve the ethical validity required by the Goddess Isis of Truth for Her Fellowship.

A Priestess of Isis here in Avalon, Celia, asked me how my brother and I prepared candidates for Ordination and other Initiations.

Our essential aim for any Candidate was to receive direct revelation of the real existence of the Goddess. This we achieved through the Candidate developing psychic and spiritual awakening through trance experience and dream interpretation. Development of the Kundalini was all important for receiving the direct flow of energy through the body. The Candidate was required to have a practical way to care for others through nature, social work, care for animals or the environment.

Practice of the Arts and Crafts was necessary for each Candidate to develop his or her unique gifts. Lawrence and myself gave our sessions for eight day periods. We would assemble in the library in the morning and each person was required to read a paper on some relevant subject to FOI. In the afternoons, we made pilgrimage to a sacred place to cooperate with the local energies.

At 6.00 p.m. we would assemble to experience magical journeys of the soul, where each person would report on what they received spiritually. Here, some found the gift of Oracle, others of Healing and Counselling. We accepted the equality of Teacher and Candidate, demanded no violation of their private lives or asked for any binding vows. When we felt that the Candidate was accepted by the Goddess and her Consort the God, we would then give the Rite of Rebirth, followed by Ordination in our Temple of Isis in full ceremony. The new Priestess or Priest, in our experience, received a full flow of divine energy. They then, as was the custom of the ancient Priesthood, gave their Blessing to the world, with a declaration of their future spiritual intent.

This creates a central directory so she can direct people to groups in a particular area who wish to acquire information on centres and their courses. So at the moment we do not need to send lists of all our ordainees and so on, just our centres's details to be registered. New members not already aligned to any groups may apply via Cressida too."

I am so happy that my niece Cressida Pryor is my successor in the spiritual and ethical work of the Fellowship of Isis. We need one single centre for registration of membership and centres (Lyceums, Iseums, Priories and Groves) which should be Clonegal Castle. Cressida has offered to be the custodian. Members may register with her and must sign that they agree to the Manifesto. No member has the right to control another. There are no subscription fees, membership will always continue to be free. I feel my brother is with me as the Fellowship of Isis goes back to basics. Cressida is the niece of my brother Lawrence Durdin-Robertson and Pamela Durdin-Robertson.

Owing to the great increase in Lyceums and FOI centres in many countries and languages, no single national of ANY country has authority over the Fellowship of Isis or The College of Isis, or any of our centres.

There is no special permit of authority from the USA, UK or any other country that recommends or gives permission for any FOI Centre. The FOI has always had a democratic voice.

Musings on Priesthood Training Courses

As we have said in our Manifesto, My brother and I have printed our ordination ceremony but left it to individual priestesses and Priests to offer their own form of training. Purely from a personal point of view I like what Caroline has told me this morning so I have prevailed on her to offer her own method which is modern, democratic and original. It allows the candidate to bring the Goddess into everyday life.

My brother and I were very clear that anyone could leave the Fellowship, including the priesthood and any FOI group or course at anytime and that they will be sent forth with goodwill and kindness however annoyed they are at the time! I don’t mind if they find spiritual support elsewhere. The Priestess allows the candidate privacy and therefore freedom in their personal life. There should be no vows or secrecy. Let us be happy! Love is the Heartbeat of the Universe. OR

My brother is present as Caroline and I are talking here on the sofa after breakfast:

From Caroline: Olivia has asked me to share the basics of my Priestess training.

My course is open to all who come with a genuine good heart. It is a very practical and the aims are for the candidate to integrate the Goddess into the ‘mundane’ sphere, what we call everyday life, which includes ones’ work, hobbies, and other activities. This extends to some form of conservation work; practical or raising awareness; Some similar work will be taken with animals and the environment. This is not as daunting as it sounds, trust me! This complements academic research – hearing of your genuine psychic and spiritual contact with the goddess is as important, if not more so, than you telling me what you have learned from books!

The practical work also complements this more esoteric work such as the daily meditations and psychic attunements, FOI Liturgy rites, joining us in solo distant attunement, dream understanding, and bi-monthly group meetings. To me the most important aspect of the role of Priestess is to give the oracle of the Goddess, and it is a particular feature of the FOI priesthood. My course offers training with this.

The candidate finds that by the date of their ordination, they are already acting as a Priestess or Priest with grace in all spheres of their life, including how they treat others, how they share, and how they treat themselves. Equally, I see the role of the Pr/Prs offering an ordination course as one of bringing out the Pr/Prs already within the candidate. No form of bossing or discipline should be present in the relationship. There can be no form of domineering from teacher to student, the relationship is not healthy if the teacher acts like a boss, and the student should not accept it. The newly ordained Prs or Pr is free to continue working with the same people, or to start their own group and to go forth with blessings of the Fellowship. Aset Shemu.

Druidess. Festival of Opet, Isis the Awakener

To all Global Centres of The Fellowship of Isis and

The Druid Clan of Dana and The Noble Order of Tara

I have been overwhelmed by the needs of my friends the Hopi, Mayans, and Polynesians and other Native American peoples both North and South to save their whole life-style from well meaning but disastrous intervention.

Now at last the Divine Command of the Earth Goddess has been heard as Druidess Caroline Wise was summoned to see Her Excellency the Bolivian Ambassador to London to help the Earth Goddess and the indigenous people. The Ambassadress has said we are five minutes to midnight to saving the earth, and that the earth goddess Patchamama is now officially recognised by the Bolivian government.

If we want to help, each of us can light a candle to the Earth Goddess that we may perform her Divine Will to save the Earth. Not our will, her will by forming a network of lights around the earth.

I was very honoured to be asked to a meeting at the Bolivian Embassy by the Ambassador to Britain Maria Beatriz Souviron to discuss the summer solstice significance at Stonehenge, and the goddess. I was also asked to describe our own beliefs in the Fellowship of Isis. I told her about our work in the Druid Clan of Dana and the Noble Order of Tara. Vivianne Crowley represented Wicca. Please see my report in the latest Isian News. http://www.isiannewsfoi.org/ The ambassador said we are five minutes to midnight regarding the diminution of earth’s resources. She was aware that the pagan practice of the Bolivian indigenous people have similarities with modern ‘Western’ pagan practice. While I am aware that there are also differences that may not be in accord with my own practice, the important thing is that the Goddess has been officially recognised by a democratically elected government and this will lead to more recognition of the Goddess world wide.

To help with this restoration of the Goddess, I sanction Olivia’s suggestion that we light candles and send the light forth to the indigenous people of the world. Five minutes to midnight on any day convenient to you would be a good time to do this; if this is not possible, then any time could be symbolic of ‘five minutes to midnight’.

1. From Olivia Robertson: I am heartened, joyful and uplifted by the goddess inspired messages some from very old friends that I love to hear from and all the new members especially in far off lands from Foundation Centre.

From Olivia on a sofa in London this morning: What came to me as a message from Isis for any of you is that we are now through this web communion, gaining this new age telepathy which already unites the world of spirit which we exist in, where we are come from before birth and where we go to in the change called death. Therefore when we post messages of happiness, humour, kindness, we are reaching out to people we love in Spirit World. The veil is dissolving. This web is a way of learning the Enochian language of Angels.

3. The Fellowship of Isis is a way that Isis is able to create a communion of hearts, and reception of truth. Her Fellowship is bringing harmony to solitary members who now find their spiritual family here which is growing in Fellowship with love, joy and the creative arts. The solitary member may join here with fellow souls in finding new creativity and discovering the creativity of others. Isis is the muse of ten thousand gifts. “After painting Isis, it came to me that there was no clear expression to help others understand the very meaning of the Goddess. So I found myself painting Hathor and adding the flowers and fruits of the Earth to each figure, providing food, beauty and abundance to all.

I realise now that Isis is revealing Herself, through the changing faces of Her Temple, withdrawing Her Veil, not all at once, but Shrine by Shrine according to the Zodiac periods.”

The climax was the Egyptian Harvest with the inundation of the Nile.

So Hathor Goddess of Love and Abundance is shown giving

a cornucopia of food to the hungry:

Humans, a Lion and a Tiger.

Fruit is shown given by the Deities, Sekhmet, Bast and Ra.

What to me means much, is that I have used this chapel to show 3 Goddesses who have come to me: Tara in 1946, Dana in 1952 & a side picture of Brigid in the year 2000.

Am I being told that the descent of Ishtar through various levels represents incarnation, especially now with Star Children?

Anyway all beings have a star within – I’ve been rather reluctant to show these new arrivals from beyond – but the first boy rather took over! He’s found a mirror door.

A vision of a child made of crystallized light seen

at dawn on Wednesday, 27th April, 2011 by Olivia Robertson.

Located in the Star Chapel at the High Altar

which is dedicated to the Goddess Ishtar of Babylon.

“I would like to share a psychic experience I was given on Wed 27th April, 2011, which inspired me to paint the Star Child. While lying in bed at 6 am, I found myself standing before the Ishtar Altar. I was puzzled because a shining figure made of pure white light was blocking my view of the Altar frontal, of my painting of the Winged Goddess. The figure was that of a child – I could not determine the gender. I believe the child represents the Star Children from beyond our earth who are incarnating at present. However, all of us, old and young are born of the Goddess, so we may share this gentle coming with equality, happiness and love.”

Star Chapel Ceiling

Lit by Olivia Robertson’s painted window between the Star Chapel and the Well. In 1980 the Star Chapel was created by Co-Founders, Lawrence Durdin-Robertson and his sister Olivia. They worked together painstakingly to clear an ancient wine cellar in the basement of the Castle. The ceiling was designed by Lawrence to show many of the wonderful Non-Zodiac Constellations such as the Polar Constellations, including Caer Arianrhod, her Pole Star home, and the Great Bear.

There are Cygnus the Swan, the Ariadne Crown, Andromeda’s Sea Monster, Sirius, Orion & Cassiopeia. Having first painted the whole Ceiling deep blue, Lawrence created cardboard stencils. These Olivia then used to paint the Stars in gold.

Here are some small photos of parts of the ceiling just to give a sense of it.

High Altar, Ishtar of Babylon

This is the High Altar of the Goddess Ishtar of Babylon. She descended the seven planes from the Stars to the last level, the Earth, to rescue her lover, Tammuz, Shepherd of the Starry Flocks. The seven stages are shown from the White Angel with wings, a mirror showing Ishtar, Ishtar and Tammuz together in a statuette, a silk frontal with a painting of the Goddess (by Olivia Robertson) and finally the Offspring of Ishtar and Tammuz as a Star Child with a Moon and a White Cat representing all creatures born of Ishtar as Lady of Fifteen (The Moon) and of the eight pointed Star Venus, which is in the heart of all beings.

Again we have stages of incarnation. Above is the Winged Isis. Below is the painting of the Goddess made of White Light who came to Olivia Robertson, then below that a large painted medallion of Tara laughing, by Olivia Robertson, with an unexpected blackbird by her white wing. Sharing her liveliness is a large blue dolphin, splashing on the Altar. The frontal shows a Tara Hill with stars. Her hills are all over the earth. The Dolmen is Her Star Doorway.

Sun Goddess of Japan

The Altar of Aquarius, the Goddess Amaterasu-no-kami

Altar furnishings designed by William Morris in the nineteenth Century with gold-leaf ‘fleur-de-lys.’ A Sun disc with Japanese face, represents the Goddess and another in gold below this is of Uzumi who drew Amaterasu out of Her cave to shine again by her dancing, thus founding Nô Plays. The cloth frontal of three Japanese Muses was brought back by Olivia Robertson from Japan. To the left is a Japanese fox fairy, represented by an Art Nouveau face and cloth illustrating ‘fin-de-siècle’ Japanese influence in French art.

In the Shrine of the Anthrosphinx

An African Mother with Child on her back, carved in Africa, stands by a bowl giving water to a large stone tortoise. Behind her on a Moorish screen are lemons, apples and orange branches next to a painting on cloth by Olivia Robertson of Margo the Korean Goddess of Mercy and below is a large pottery jar.

On the other side of the Art Nouveau stained glass window showing an Ankh, is the Goddess Gangur of Rajasthan (see photo below). She is also distributing water and fruit – carried by a sacred white elephant. She is working with a carved African giraffe, a sea monster carved by David Durdin-Robertson and painted by Olivia Robertson, along with Nu Kua the Creator Goddess in the form of a jade dragon. On the right is the Sphinx Ra Herut. Behind Her is the Golden Disc held by two folding wings by David Durdin-Robertson. The Rainbow banner was given from Hawaii and symbolises our Rainbow network of friendliness and harmony that circles the earth.

Mayan Sun Disc by Olivia Robertson represents Ra in the Mayan Calendar. It is located in the Shrine of the Anthrosphinx.

The Korean Goddess Mago

The Goddess Mago is a Korean Goddess Who threw humanity out of her land for bad behaviour. (She is now between the Anthrosphinx and the Gangur Shrine.)

Her Sun-Gold hair and Blue-Sky eyes harmonize with Ra. Her gifts of fruit and water from the Aquarian jar mirror the gifts of fruit and water given by Gangur to all creatures.

The Cave of the Mothers

Now the Cave, for the first time, is unveiled. Gaea is represented by a very young girl on the altar beneath the loop-hole. On the left of the cave is the entombment of Osiris and a painting of Mary Magdalene holding her Daughter, Sarah by Olivia Robertson.

On the left back wall are the Three Creator Artists, Pele, Brigid and Maya by Olivia Robertson. They are releasing red, green and purple rays on a new green planet on a tripod.

On the right is a full length figure of the Goddess Persephone, Queen of the Underworld and a painting of the Goddess Muth, Queen of Spirits.

On the floor before her is a South American plaster figure of Coatlicue with her twins Quetzalpetlatl and Quetzalcoatl. Behind her are wooden figures by David Durdin-Robertson of The Three Norns, Urd, Vivandi and Skulda.

Above are paintings of The Three Fates, Lachesis, Clotho and Atropos. To the right of the Granite Dolmen doorway is Osiris Reborn by The Winged Isis, a painting by Olivia Robertson.

Olivia's writing didn't transfer well during the scanning process, her note, lower right reads: "Another effort!"

Olivia calls this piece "Portrait of the Goddess of Justice", and also refers to it in her note as "Veiled Justice".

The weather was damp but we didn't mind at all - the earth really needs rain at present for growth, but everything is looking beautiful with the cherry blossom and pure white of the blackthorn in the hedgerows. Three of us took Olivia out for lunch and then a couple of us also went to visit her great niece Pamela for tea together with her young family, which was, as ever, delightful."

formed by the Sun with two handles of the waxing and waning Moon.

Above Her is the Crown of Rulership and by Her are statuettes of Bast & Horus

Of the Rising Sun.

Comment: Isis has, in fact, been literally ‘brought down to earth’ by about 6 inches. Olivia spent hours disassembling the High Altar and then rearranging and putting it all together again. What struck me as I gazed at it was the amazing presence of the Goddess. Her energy almost stepped forward and down off the Altar. MQ

The Winged Disc by David Durdin-Robertson

This represents the Spiritual Sun with two balancing wings overlooking the Leo & Virgo Shrines of the Rising of the Nile within the double sign THE ANTHROSPHINX.

On the left is the Sphinx of Leo receiving a procession of followers of Amon Ra, the Ram God. On the right are followers of the Aten Sun of Akhenaton. Below the winged disc are Sekhmet, (Head of a Lioness), as the Lady and the Lion, painting by OR, and Bast Cat Goddess with Ra overhead as the Deities of the Anthrosphinx, and a red disc. SEKHMET, BAST & RA overhead, are thus represented as a Triad. Within the Anthrosphinx period of Leo & Virgo is the Rising of the Nile heralding the Egyptian New Year. We have the symbolic figures of Sekhmet, Goddess with head of a lion in a woman’s body and the Sphinx, God Harmachis, with head of a God and body of a lion.

The Mirror in the Labyrinth

Ishtar Altar

Ishtar travels the Planes to rescue her Lover Tammuz. This Altar is in the Holiest of the Holies in the Temple. The main altar of the Goddess Ishtar of the 8-pointed star, Lady of 15, shows a "Mirror of Hathor," which reflects the soul's dreams. Ishtar is painted on the surface. She descended the Planes to rescue her Lover, Tammuz Shepherd of the Starry Flocks. The Goddess Tiamat of space is painted with outspread wings on the altar frontal.

New Iseum of Eke-Eyen, The Great Mother

There is clear evidence that our entire family if not the Whole Village were devotees of The Great Goddess.

Last year in our plot of land a sacred site, once a shrine of a Great Goddess. My Great-Grandfather and even my Grandfather converted to Christianity and abandoned the site. It is now in bush farm land but it is still alive.

The Name of the Deity of Goddess in our language is Eke-Eyen. This means “The Child’s Mother”, like the Madonna or Holy Mary. She carries a baby on her back and cares for the entire family/village. Something unusual happened after the rediscovery of the forgotten Mother.

My elder brother Michael in his residence at UIyo – the capital of Akwa Ibony State, fell seriously ill. His whole compound became filled with vultures. An Oracle told Michael that the Ancient Ones had come to inform him to come to the Sacred Site and take the office of Eka-Eyen.

Michael miraculously recovered his health. His family Ekwere offer libations to the Great Mother.

The Goddess Gangur

The Goddess Gangur, hand-crafted and painted by Devotees in Rajasthan village. She is connected with the Goddess Parvati. She 'protects from excessive male violence.' So She is Gangur the Protectress. Before Her is a bowl offering water to a jade dragon, a sea monster, a frog and a crocodile. An elephant bears fruit for the hungry. To the left is a banner of Green Tara, Goddess of Compassion. To the right is a wall hanging of Radha and Krishna, happy, divine lovers. He plays his magical flute.

Olivia has painted the Goddess Ariadne below a tiled picture of the Snake Goddess, which she obtained while at Knossos in Crete. Ariadne is painted in front of the Outer Door of Her Labyrinth, which is the plan of the Temple of Isis with 5 chapels of the Elements and 12 Zodiac Shrines. She upholds 2 snakes, dual aspects of the Melusina - Kundalini Powers of Life.

The Changing Face of the Temple

Message from Minette Quick with Photos - Received February 6, 2011

Dear All,

Olivia was so happy, busily preparing the Temple for our Imbolc Festival which took place on Saturday, 5th February 2011. I went to visit her this Friday and took a look at her work and took photographs to share with you all. The truth is that the Temple is never the same for long, it is a living creation and one which she takes great joy in. The energy was absolutely wonderful on Saturday and the Temple was glowing. We had a wonderful time together celebrating Brigid's Time of the year.

The first photo is, of course, of The High Altar with the Goddess Isis, veiled with the Veil of Bride for the "Ceremony of Unveiling of Truth" which was enacted by the Priesthood. The second is of the Pisces Altar of Psyche with her emblems, her lamp and butterfly. The third shows Olivia's painting of the MerGoddess Derceto, under the window on the right of Brigid-na-Mara over the Well; the Goddess Gangur from Rajasthan stands beside the Well, She is the Protectress of Women against excessive violence.

Ra-Herut

The Sphinx has as Mystery the Riddle of the Inner Sun:

"What is it that warms without burning,

That shines from the darkness

That is nowhere and everywhere?

Who answers this riddle

Has answered My Secret."

The Sphinx is situated between the Shrine of Kwan Yin of Compassion

and the High Altar of Isis of Truth.

Olivia is thrilled with Ra-Herut the female Sphinx, whom she 'created' in the past couple of days and wanted you all to have immediately! As you will see she has been having a wonderful time adding to the Shrine of Kwan Yin which now has a number of delightful new touches, lots of green etc. and I have sent you the full-sized versions because she and I had a lot of fun seeing all the details on my camera when I blew them up fully to check the focus on them over lunch yesterday. She invites you to look at the wonderful 'Green Man' on the chair beside the High Altar which is visible on the Ra-Herut close-up. The Kwan Yin one yields lovely views of Sekhmet and the head of Bast visible in the Her Shrine behind the stained glass division. She points out that there are two Solar details also and she loves all the close-ups of things which people don't really see just glancing even on a visit to the Temple. Enjoy!
