Tangerine Radio

Tangerine Radio was run by Raunchy Rick. His primary message was that government was unnecessary and obviously corrupt, but he also dabbled in other topics, al la the “Anti Religion Program”, which questioned the validity of religion. Programs included rock music, parody ads, and original editorials about governmental corruption and the possibility of a better life without government meddling in our lives.

Rick named Tangerine Radio after his favorite food, the tangerine. Broadcasts began in the mid-80s and continued until he lost interest. Rick was also a prolific creator of “underground” ‘zines, and over the years he probably produced at least a dozen different publications. While the focus changed with his latest interest, the underlying theme was always cooperative

anarchy.
