We had touched a little bit of the different use of the three characters.

When they are used as a 助词 grammatical particle word, they are all pronounced without 4 tones of Chinese - 轻声 (de).

Normally used to describe a thing, so it's followed by a noun.

例如 i.e. 蓝蓝的天, 热闹的晚会。

Normally used to describe an action/movement, so it's followed by a verb.

例如: 快快地跑,高兴地唱歌。

Normally used after a verb(动词) or an adjective (形容词)or adverb(副词).

例如:跑得快, 唱得好。
