“不” and “吗”

不 and the Negative Sentences
Basic negative sentences normally can be easily formed with the very word "不“
例如 for example
爸爸是老师 -> 爸爸不是老师
他是我哥哥 -> 他不是我哥哥
吗 and the Questions
Put a simple '吗’ at the end of a sentence can turn a normal statement into a question.
例如 for example；
他是老师。 - > 他是老师吗？
小明喜欢学中文。 -> 小明喜欢学中文？
Please note, there are many other forms of expressions for negative sentences and questions.
