Welcome to "The Ketsueki Quadrilogy: Majin Seiryu Ki." This series is the third of four interconnecting fics and it involves a four-way crossover for the following series; Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Soulcalibur, and Tekken. The story also involves Original Characters.
This fanfiction in particular involves a cast of 127 characters in a tournament-based storyline. It is highly recommended that you read the prequels, 'Chishio No Me' and 'Ano Sentaku Bou' in that order before reading 'Majin Seiryu Ki.'

So yeah... I'm writing this in white just to show that not only have I updated with news, but I am, in fact, still alive.
First and foremost... HUGE apology for, for the second time since I started this series, going on a hiatus for more than a year... almost two years in this case, but that's actually shorter than the last time. Honestly, I had no intention for the hiatus to happen. As you can seen below, my last fic update was in October 2016 and then, earlier than expected, the stress of the holidays hit me. I did get into one new video game in Spring 2017, but that's another story.
Then starting around this time last year when I tried to write again - even completing a few one-shot stories for another fandom - I just... lost my writing confidence. Suddenly I felt like there was no point to it, like it was a waste of my time... like people no longer care about what I put out there. As someone who's passionate writing, the thoughts were... disconcerting to say the least.
Then suddenly it's been one year since my last update. Like... where did that year go? Then the holiday stress hit again. I figured, after that, maybe I'll try to gain confidence again, though the whole thing with net neutrality wasn't helping anything.
Except sadly, 2018 has already proven to be the worst year of my life. In a nutshell, I lost my car, one of my cats suddenly died, I lost my job (hated where I worked anyway, but not having income sucks), my computer also died (and I actually lost the next three chapters of MSK...), and - the biggest and most recent one - my SO and I broke up after 14 years. I really, REALLY hope that the last one would be the worst of it.
Anyway... now I'll get to the part about the series itself. First of all, YES, I do and always will intend to see to it's completion even it takes me until my golden years to do that. The ONLY thing that will ever stop me is if I drop dead. I'd say... if I don't update at least once in a 5-year period, then yeah... consider me dead.
The good news is the desire to write the next chapter is indeed starting to take over, which is a good sign. The problem, however, is that I need to re-look at everything because, of course, my memory is crap. I have my notes, of course, but I was thinking that it would actually be a good idea to re-read all the bios and both CNM and ASB to refresh my memory.
Luckily, the next chapter will be easy to salvage... I only wrote one scene and even that scene was never completed, so starting that over won't be so difficult. I do worry about the chapter after that. Because I wrote A LOT in that one... and, well... I don't even know if I still have those scenes anymore... and currently, I only remember two of them off the top of my head.
Anyway, between all that - as well as a current non-writing-related project I'm working on at this time - I'd really would like to get back into writing more MSK starting Fall 2018. Considering my job loss, I expect this holiday to be a lot less stressful this year.
Aside from this bulletin, I have no other updates for this site at this time.

Chapter 21 is now up and reasdy to read as well as 'Behind the Fic' and 'Quotes' for that chapter.
I made minor adjustments to ALL Street Fighter profiles based on the newly posted profiles Capcom has released in recent days. Most of these changes are very minor and will reflect in the other two websites at a later date.

Chapters 19 and 20 are now up and ready to read. 'Behind the Fic' and Quotes for Chapters 17, 18, 19, and 20 are also now posted.
The profiles for Ruby Heart and Doctrine Dark have been update to reflect on the recent new Street Fighter profiles being released by Capcom. Ruby Heart's does affect her story in the Quadrilogy a bit and the necessary edits will be made in the future (mainly in ASB).
It's also now known, thanks to planning around the tournament and the main plot, that Majin Seiryu Ki will have 100 chapters in total!

Chapter 17 and 18 are now up and ready to read. 'Behind the Fic' and quotes will come a little later as they're still being worked on.
Minor adjustments have been made in the... well... Minor Characters page.
And in the Extras ---> Arenas page, with the exception of one stage, pictures of arenas featured in the fic so far have been added.

Chapters 15 and 16 are now up and ready as well as 'Behind the Fic' and quotes for both chapters!
The bio for Shura is (finally) now up and ready to read! This completes ALL character bios for this fic!
Round 1 in the Arenas page is now open! However, aside from a list of most of the arenas for that round, there is no other content at this time. However, pictures will be posted soon.

Chapters 13 and 14 are now up and ready to read as well as 'Behind the Fic' and quotes for both chapters. Chapter 14 ended up having to be split in half with Chapter 15 due to length. Therefore, the debut appearance of Shura will be delayed by one chapter. This also pushes back the start of the tournament to Chapter 16.
The minor character, Kong Xiuqiang, has been removed from the story altogether due to a number of reasons, but overall, I realized that his presence wasn't going to work for this story and will only make things complicated. He's been removed from all previous chapters he appeared in. However, he will appear in Part 4 of the Quadrilogy.
The Arenas page has been added in the 'Extras' section. No additional content has been added for right now.
The following characters now have songs for the MSK soundtrack; Anna, Armor King, Doctrine Dark, and Haggar.

Just to give a heads-up... between being behind on chapter notes, planning one new fic and trying to complete another, mixed with the unfortunate, constant intervention of real-life and unusual-increased hours at my job (which seems to be a summer thing especially... -sigh- that's life as an adult...), the next chapter of MSK may take a little time to be done and ready to go. Preferably, I'd like to have it out before this month is over, but as of now, the next chapter will most likely be out some time in September.

This concludes all introduction chapters with Ermac and Shura being the only characters left to introduce in the story! Both characters will make their first appearance before Chapter 15 and will have their bios posted then.
