The Work

This is the first draft of Little King's Cross. This building is the common place where all the characters can meet and get along. It's set on a London Underground depot at surface level.

This building is only a place for the characters to use at their hearts content. It is not their home, nor their headquarters, solely a place where they can play, watch TV, cook and do some specific things. Examples are Jubilee's workshop, where Jubilee takes her free time messing around with electronic appliances, and Bakerloo's office, where she keeps in line with the police communications and gathers all the information she took during her investigations.

The meeting room is usually used as a dinning room, but when something is going on that requires the attention of all the group, this place is used. The hobby room is simple, underground themed living room with a kitchen and a model railway, where the group spends most of its time while on Little King's Cross.

This is a second scene attempt in early 2013 and was done to showcase a "letter of apologie" from the author of Mind the Gap to Jubilee, for the time being taken for a short animation to be made.

The image was presented in a 4:3 format, with the BBC Two logo in the corner to simulate a broadcast and both an oyster card and a portuguese andante card are present over the handwritten letter.

This was the first scene attempt done in 2012 for Mind the Gap. The idea was to make two characters in vector, a background and some generic people.

The first version of this artwork featured text and low resolution image complete with noise. The second version had noise removed and was in full resolution (HD 1080).

The vector for North was lost in the vectorizing process and only a bitmap recording of the work was rescued from the transfer area.
