About Us

About Us

Saint Luke's Church at 369 Main St., Saint John is currently our home base. Our guild meets regularly the first Wednesday evening of each month, at 7 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm). We include Show and Tell, and a new program each time. We add a section for Guild Business as required. Our December meeting is our Christmas dinner. Our year ends with a potluck, in June.

Each Thursday, from 10am until 2pm, we meet at Saint Luke's Church for Quilters Cove. This group gives all who attend, the opportunity to work on whatever projects that they have on the go at the time. Questions are asked, things are learned, and friendships are made and strengthened.

We have a library of quilting books that are available to all guild members for borrowing. The library is open at each monthly meeting, as well as during Quilters Cove gatherings. With more than 50 titles on hand, there is sure to be something to catch your fancy.

Our guild also offers workshops geared to all different levels of quilters, from the very inexperienced to the well-seasoned. Please check out our "Thinks we do" Calendar of Events and get in touch with us if there is something that catches your attention.

Every second year, we hold a Quilt Show (see Things we do).

Over the past few years, we have offered a Quilter's Retreat (see Things we do) at a local establishment, usually in early February. We stay for two, or three nights, depending on what works best for the individual, and all enjoy the experience!

We try to be actively involved in our Community (see Things we do).
