AUSTRALIAN ABC IGNORES HUMAN RIGHTS WATCH REPORT ON ISRAELI APARTHEID

Dear fellow humanitarian,

Australian ABC ignores HRW report on Israeli apartheid

On 27 April 2021 Human Rights Watch (HRW) published a report on the utterly vile Israeli apartheid system entitled “A threshold crossed. Israeli authorities and the crimes of apartheid and persecution”. The key findings are as follows: “About 6.8 million Jewish Israelis and 6.8 million Palestinians live today between the Mediterranean Sea and Jordan River, an area encompassing Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT), the latter made up of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip. Throughout most of this area, Israel is the sole governing power; in the remainder, it exercises primary authority alongside limited Palestinian self-rule. Across these areas and in most aspects of life, Israeli authorities methodically privilege Jewish Israelis and discriminate against Palestinians. Laws, policies, and statements by leading Israeli officials make plain that the objective of maintaining Jewish Israeli control over demographics, political power, and land has long guided government policy. In pursuit of this goal, authorities have dispossessed, confined, forcibly separated, and subjugated Palestinians by virtue of their identity to varying degrees of intensity. In certain areas, as described in this report, these deprivations are so severe that they amount to the crimes against humanity of apartheid and persecution… The international community has for too long explained away and turned a blind eye to the increasingly transparent reality on the ground. Every day a person is born in Gaza into an open-air prison, in the West Bank without civil rights, in Israel with an inferior status by law, and in neighboring countries effectively condemned to lifelong refugee status, like their parents and grandparents before them, solely because they are Palestinian and not Jewish. A future rooted in the freedom, equality, and dignity of all people living in Israel and the OPT will remain elusive so long as Israel’s abusive practices against Palestinians persist.”

According to latest demographic estimates, despite 100 years of an ongoing Palestinian Genocide and 2 major mass expulsion events (in 1948 and 1967, respectively), Indigenous Palestinians represent 50% of the Subjects of Apartheid Israel and Jewish Israelis 47%. The 5.2 million Indigenous Palestinians of the Occupied Palestinian Territory are 72% of the Indigenous Palestinian Subjects of Apartheid Israel, live under highly abusive military rule in dire and deadly poverty (per capita GDP $3,400 versus $46,400 for Israelis), and are excluded from human rights, civil rights and from voting for the government ruling them i.e. they are subject to egregious apartheid that violates International laws and Conventions.

As set out below, there has been massive coverage around the world of this important HRW Report. However as of 30 April the Australian ABC (the taxpayer-funded Australian equivalent of the UK BBC) has so far not reported on the 27 April 2021 Human Rights Watch Report.

The following Australian Mainstream media have not reported the 27 April 2021 Human Rights Watch report: the ABC, The Canberra Times (Canberra, Australian Capital Territory), The West Australian (Perth, Western Australia), Northern Territory News (Darwin, Northern Territory), The Advocate (Launceston, Tasmania), The Bendigo Advertiser (Bendigo, Victoria), News.com (national), Fox News (national), Sky News Australia (national), Channel 7 News (national), Channel 9 News (national), Channel 10 News (national).

Conclusions and recommendations:

Under a mendacious, racist, anti-science, war criminal, climate criminal, neoliberal and right-wing Coalition Government a politically correct racist (PC racist) Australia is second only to the US as a fervent supporter of a nuclear terrorist, genocidally racist, racist Zionist-run, serial war criminal, serial invader, serial occupier, grossly human rights-abusing, child-abusing, mother-abusing, women-abusing, anti-Arab anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, anti-Jewish anti-Semitic, and democracy-by-genocide Apartheid Israel. The Australian taxpayer-funded but mendacious, traitorous and cowardly ABC acts as a voice for the Zionist-subverted, US lackey Australian Government.

Silence is complicity. Lying by omission is far, far worse than repugnant lying by commission because the latter at least allows public refutation and public debate. Two key recommendations:

(1). In the Australian national interest, the international news operations of the lying ABC (and associated taxpayer funding) should be immediately transferred to the partly taxpayer-funded Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) which has vastly better reporting standards than that of the morally degenerate ABC presstitutes.

(2). There needs to be a comprehensive Royal Commission into lying by the ABC and Australian Mainstream media in general, and in particular that which is against the national interests of Australia and benefits the interests of dangerous, nuclear terrorist and racist foreign powers, notably Apartheid Israel and Zionist-subverted America.
