I am a biomechanist and palaeontologist investigating the link between animal form, function and major evolutionary events. I study the evolution of feeding and locomotion in a wide range of living and fossil animals - including fish, amphibians, reptiles, mammals and birds - using medical imaging and visualisation, computer modelling techniques, and experiments.
I am currently a Lecturer in Anatomy in the Centre for Integrative Anatomy in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at University College London.
