Volcano
The powerful features of the volcano provided the concept to design a piece of furniture that allows various forms of sitting and lying.
Volcanic eruption is a process in which the magma break through cracks in the earth crust and reach the surface - a mesmerizing natural phenomenon, intriguing and spectacular . The hot eruptive lava gets cold when contacting the air, than hardens and changes color and texture in the process.
The VOLCANO is a furniture that was built from round wooden surface with holes which soft tubes pass through it to create the sitting surface. The tubes fit themselves to you during the sitting and you can change them in several ways for your convenience.
In fact, this created piece of furniture that imposing it's presence in any space, can be positioned in various poses in order to sit or lie, alone, in a couple or for a group of friends nestling in.
The "Volcano" is a part of the "Nat-Chair" sitting and lying furniture line which designed under the inspiration of the magical great nature with a personal twist of my poin of view.

התפרצות געשית היא תהליך בו פורצת מגמה מסדקים בקרום כדו"הא אל פני השטח ועל ידי כך נוצרים הרי געש. תופעת טבע מהפנטת , מסקרנת ומרהיבה ביופייה . הלבה החמה, המתפרצת, מתקררת במגע עם האוויר, מתקשה ומשנה את צבעה ומרקמה
הרהיט בנוי מבסיס - משטח עץ עגול ובו חורים דרכם "מתפרצים" צינורות רכים אשר מהווים את חווית הישיבה. הצינורות מתאימים עצמם אל המשתמש בעת הישיבה וניתן לעשות בהם שימושים שונים לנוחיותך
למעשה נוצר רהיט בעל מראה ייחודי ובולט בנוכחותו בכל חלל, אשר ניתן לעצבו בתנוחות שונות ומגוונות, לשבת או לשכב, לבד, בזוג או עם חברים ולהתכרבל בתוכו
