Accessible Garden Project
In 2020, Koppel Community Garden partnered with Disability Action Center NW to pursue funding and support for an accessible gardening space in the community garden. The Innovia Foundation and METER Group have provided two grants in support of this project. The City of Pullman also relocated an ADA accessible port-a-potty to the parking lot and provided signage for Handicap Parking. WSU School of Design and Construction students have provided both the design and volunteers for the project. The project was dedicated in September 2022 and will take new gardeners in 2023.
