Today Tman went to Minneapolis on the 2:00 PM bus.

I took the Megabus from the Broadway Park and Ride at 2 pm

It is an interesting double decker bus and I sat in front on the second level

It has a really great view. We Stopped in Mauston at Wendy's for Supper,

then made it to Minneapolis around 7:15. I decided I would hike to the Minneapolis

International Hostel. And I made it there after being off course for about 5 blocks.

The Hostel is in a old kinda run down Mansion. The Men's dorm is on the 3rd floor

and you have to walk up a narrow back stairway. So it definately isn't for someone who

isn't in shape. They do have a couple rooms on the first floor. For 27 dollars a night,

the men's dorm is reasonable, but on a busy night I could see where it could be a pain.

We only had 6 people sleeping there tonight. Which means there is a minimum of

people coming and going.

I am to meet Mark Stange of the Kekekabic Trail Club at noon at Midwest Mountaineering.

He will be driving me to Ely, where he will be working on a Trail Crew for the

weekend. This is good, because we wouldn't have any Trails without Trail Crews.

I do have some gear difficulties which need to be remedied today. I need to get a belt

because the drawstring on my pants does not keep it up. Also, I have had trouble

activating The Spot Beacon. I tried last night and it didn't seem to work because I

didn't receive an email from it.

Thats all for now
