To start using InfoQube / SQLNotes :

1. Uninstall any previous versions (using the control panel Add/Remove Programs)
2. Win XP and Vista can use the new portable version. To do so follow these simple steps:
1. Download the Portable InfoQube Zip file (link below) and extract to any folder (local HD or portable)
2. Start InfoQube.exe (you'll likely want to create a shortcut, right-click on the file) (SQLNotes.exe in previous versions)
3. Non XP/Vista (i.e. Win 2000, Mac, Linux in Windows emulation) users must use the Installer:
1. Click on the InfoQube Installer link below
2. Unzip and run setup.exe.
   
4. Install the Firefox clipper extension by dragging the file InfoQubeFFExtension.xpi to a Firefox window
5. Install the Thunderbird email import extension: in Thunderbird, Tools > Add-ons and browser to the file InfoQubeTBExtension.xpi.
6. If installing the latest version, you must remove the previous Firefox and Thunderbird extensions and install the new ones (due to name transition from SQLNotes to InfoQube)

Go ahead and start InfoQube. File>New to create a new database using the default template which contains numerous examples of how to use InfoQube. The Welcome grid contains a copy of the documentation.
