Professor

Hyouk-Kyu Cha received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, in 2003 and 2009, respectively. His Ph.D. work at KAIST was related to CMOS RF integrated circuits (IC) design for digital TV tuner applications.

In the summer of 2001, he worked as an intern with LG Electronics CDMA Handsets Lab., Seoul, Korea.

From 2009 to 2012, he was a Scientist with the Institute of Microelectronics (IME), Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR), Singapore, where he was involved in the research and development of  ultra-low-power CMOS RF/analog ICs for biomedical applications.

Since 2012, he has been with the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Seoul National University of Science and Technology (Seoultech), Seoul, Korea, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests and areas are CMOS RF/analog IC and system design.
