Mr. Ankur Patil

Thesis:- Speaker Recognition

Ankur Patil is a Ph.D. student (since July-2016) at DA-IICT. He completed his masters from K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research, Nashik (Maharashtra) & B.E. from D.N.Patel College of Engineering, Shahada (Maharashtra). His research interest focuses on the application of speech signal processing and deep learning aspects, for the development of a countermeasure system against spoofing attacks in voice biometric. He also worked in various speech technology applications such as dysarthric speech enhancement and its severity level classification, Automatic Speech Recognition, and infant cry analysis.

Ms. Priyanka Gupta

Thesis:- Anti-spoofing for voice biometric systems

Ms. Priyanka Gupta is a Ph.D. student (since July-2017) at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT, Gandhinagar). She completed M. Tech. from Laxmi Niwas Mittal Institute of Information and Technology (LNMIIT, Jaipur) in 2017. Her research interest is in the protection of voice biometrics systems from spoofing attacks (specifically replay attacks and liveness detection), using signal processing based approaches in tandem with deep learning.

Dr. Madhu Kamble

Thesis:- Analysis of Spoofing with Signal processing

Ms. Madhu Kamble was a Ph.D. student at DA-IICT, Gandhinagar. She did her M. Tech. from Cummins College of Engineering, Pune, Maharashtra in the year 2015 in Signal Processing engineering and B.Tech from P.V.P.I.T, Budhgaon, Sangli, Maharashtra in the year 2012. She has been awarded Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF) for her doctoral studies. Her research interest is in the Analysis of Spoofing with Signal processing aspects.

Dr. Nirmesh J. Shah

Thesis:- Voice Conversion: Alignment and Mapping Perspective

Mr.Nirmesh J.Shah was a Ph.D. student (since January 2014) and senior research assistant at DeitY TTS sponsored consortium project at DA-IICT (Since June 2012). He completed his M.Tech in Information Communication Technology (ICT) from DA-IICT, Gandhinagar, in 2013. His research areas include voice conversion, Text-to-Speech Synthesis and Speech Recognition.

Mr. Hardik B. Sailor

Thesis:- Analysis of Spoofing with Signal Processing

Hardik B.Sailor was a Ph.D. student (since January 2013) and senior research assistant at DeitY TTS sponsored consortium project at DA-IICT (June 2012 to Present). He completed his M.Tech in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from DA-IICT, Gandhinagar, in 2013. His research areas include Deep Architectures, Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-to-Speech Synthesis (TTS).

Dr. Maulik C.Madhavi

Thesis:- Speech Recognition and Spoken Term Detection

Dr. Maulik C. Madhavi was a PhD student at DA-IICT. He completed his M. Tech from DA-IICT, Gandhinagar in 2011. He had been a senior research assistant at DeitY sponsored consortium project at DA-IICT from 2012-2014. His research areas include audio search engine, speech segmentation, pattern recognition and humming-based speaker recognition. July 2012-Nov 2017 Completed.

Dr. Tanvina B. Patel

Thesis:- Design of Countermeasures for Spoofed Speech Detection System

Dr. Tanvina B.Patel was a PhD student and senior research assistant at DeitY TTS sponsored consortium project at DA-IICT, Gandhinagar. She completed her Masters from L.D. College Engineering, Ahmedabad. Her research interests include analysis of nonlinearities in speech signal processing, Text-to-speech synthesis and analysis of natural and synthetic speech using prosodic features. July 2012-April 2017 Completed.

Thesis:- Crying For a Reason: A Signal Processing Based Approach for Infant Cry Analysis and Classification

Dr. Anshu Chittora was a PhD student at DA-IICT, Gandhinagar. She did her M. Tech. from Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, Rajasthan in the year 2007 in communication engineering. She has 9 years of teaching experience. Her research interests are infant cry analysis, pattern classification and ASR. Jan.2011-Jan.2017 Completed.
