Awarded a grant of 6000 USD to visit Prof. Keshab K. Parhi’s research group at Department of ECE, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, the USA during May-July 2009.

My student coauthor received a grant from the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA) for the registration of our joint paper at Interspeech 2008, Brisbane, Australia. The grant has been approved by Prof. Alan W. Black of Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA.

Awarded summer research fellowship from Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore to work in the area of speaker recognition under the guidance of Prof. B. Yegnanarayana of IIIT Hyderabad for summer 2007.

Awarded IBM Travel Grant to present a research paper in ICONIP 2004, LNCS 3316, Springer-Verlag, Berlin Heidelberg, Germany.

Awarded institute scholarship (April 2001-Dec. 2004) and teaching assistantship (April 2002-April 2003) during doctoral studies at IIT Kharagpur.
