"NO MAN WITH A GOOD CAR NEEDS TO BE JUSTIFIED!"

(Taken 10/13/01)

Here are a handful of pictures of my 1965 Barracuda. The car has a lot of work to be done to it, but I'm having fun learning on it. Most of the interior is shot and will be replaced. I got a 3 spoke steering wheel to replace the cracked 2 spoke wheel that is in the pictures. There are a few rust holes in the floor board. I will be repairing that next.

1st side of front suspension removed (9/27/03)        Valiant Spears installed (4/23/05)

Here was a test, that turned out pretty good. Using supplies from a crafts store I plated my arm rest. Okay, not really, but not too bad. Its silver leaf. A lot of people are familure with gold leaf for picture frames or other art projects. This it the same only silver. All you have to do is sand to item you are working with and clean it well. Next coat the part, in sections, with the special glue and let it become tacky. Last is to carefully lay the foil on the part and use a brush or cloth to smooth it out. Once complete, you can clear coat it. You will want too because the foil will scratch easy. Enjoy the before and after pics.
