06. Coastal Enhancement

Organised outings will start again probably on the west coast where litter is usually worst. Venues and times will be given in due course.. Volunteers find great satisfaction in changing a previously ugly stretch into one looking naturally pristine. It's amazing just how much can be achieved by a group working together.

Sticks, bags, gloves etc are provided but volunteers should wear suitable clothing. It is a good idea to bring a snack/drink. Details of the events are shown below. For further details contact Ann 01407 730577 or John 01248 712793 at angleseycoastalpath@gmail.com If anyone has suggestions for beaches, footpath areas, etc that need to be cleared, please let Ann or John know. A schedule of events is below.

Balloon Sky-Tipping

Festive and commemorative balloons rise prettily high into the sky where they burst and are tipped onto our seas and fields, harming wildlife and creating litter. We pick up hundreds from our beaches on Anglesey, this last year we collected 726 from 'Friends' activities of beach clearing and walking along the coast.
