Scholarships and Financial Aid

Scholarship for internship abroad: up to NT$ 150,000 per student.

  • The Institute offers fellowship and travel grants for students who successfully apply for internship positions abroad. Students who are accepted as exchange students in credible universities overseas are welcome to apply for travel grants as well. The Institute also encourages students with financial difficulties to apply for stipends. Please refer to the students’ manual for rules and regulations.

Key dates: submit your application and required document before 10 January (for the first semester), or before 10 June (for the second semester).

FJCU Graduate Institute of Museum Studies Regulations for Rewarding Student’s Research Publication and Competition

  • In order to enhance the academic competitiveness and encourage the participation of research journal papers population and competitions for the graduate students of the Graduate Institute of Museum Studies at the FJCU, Graduate Institute of Museum Studies has formulated the “FJCU Graduate Institute of Museum Studies Regulations for Rewarding Student’s Research Publication and Competition”.

  • Funding source: Development fund of the Graduate Institute.

  • Application qualifications:

1. Applicant should be an enrolled student of the Graduate Institute.

2. The research paper has been accepted for presentation at a domestic or overseas academic journal and a conference, while the author is affiliated with the FJCU Graduate Institute of Museum Studies.

3. The research paper has won an award in a competition, while the author is affiliated with the FJCU Graduate Institute of Museum Studies.

  • Number offered: number offered per academic year is subject to the funding source; however, number offered principally is not limited. Each student can apply for this grant more than once.

  • Each paper will be awarded a NT$2,000 grant. The amount of grant may be raised if the academic journal which accepts the awarded paper is identified as a highly promoted publication by and upon the approval of the institute faculty meeting.

  • How to apply: 1. Submit an application with a proof after completing the presentation of paper, or receiving the award. 2. The application shall be submitted not later than 3 months following the presentation or announcement of the award.
