How to find The Firs
Less than two hours drive from Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff,The Firs is situated at the head of the Olchon valley. It is the perfect place for getting away from it all, surrounded by fields and not a neighbour in sight, as you can see on the map below.

Directions
From Hereford
Take the A465 to Pandy (approximately 16 miles). Turn right at Pandy Inn* and head to Longtown (approximately four miles). When you reach the Longtown village sign go through the village for 1.5 miles, then turn left (signposted Llanveynoe).
Travel along this road for 1.8 miles, take an unsigned right hand fork, and carry on for two miles. The Firs is down a drive on the left hand side, the first gateway you will come to, around 100 yards from the head of the valley.
From Abergavenny
Take the A465 to Pandy (approximately seven miles.) Turn left at Pandy Inn and follow the directions from * above.
The nearest train station is in Abergavenny,14 miles south. There is a lack of public transport to the Olchon valley, so unfortunately you'll have to walk, cycle or get a lift from there!
