The Feld Hell Club now offers seven different operating awards that you can earn...
 
 
   

The Worked All Canada Award is subject to the usual rules for the Awards with the exception that it is not a bar award. All Provinces and Territories must be contacted to gain this award.** All contacts must be made after March 6, 2006

Worked All Europe.  We're using the DARC Worked all Europe country listing, a total of 71 DXCC entities.  Awarded in three bars: 25, 50, and All Countries of Europe.  All contacts must be made after March 6, 2006.

Worked All Continents Will be awarded to Feld Hell Club members who contact fellow Radio Amateurs (Hams) on the following continents. 
Africa, North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania* (see 
below for details)  All contacts must be made after March 6, 2006.

First Contact Award: Awarded to a Feld Hell Club member who has just helped another amateur radio operator make an initial (or first) HELL Mode contact 

  
 
 

Friends Printing Friends Award: This award, given in 25 Bar  increments, is for contacting a number of Feld Hell Club members. The start date for all this awards is after March 6, 2006, the date of  the formation of the Feld Hell Club. All QSO's must be made with Feld Hell Club members.

Friend in Every State: For contacting  fellow hams in all 50 states of the United States. This award is issued as 2 separate bar awards. The first one for contacting 25 States, the second for contacting all 50 U.S. States.

DXCC Award: For Contacting Fellow Radio Amateurs (Hams) in a country or entity as recognized by the ARRL.  These awards are given in 25 bar increments. QSO's can be before the start date of the Feld Hell Club.

 

 
We are also proud to announce "The Ambassador From Hell" Award, which begins January 1, 2009.  This award can be earned two ways:
 
1) As an operator: The top five club members who have the most First Contact Awards on January 1, 2009 receive the Award.  Thereafter it will be done on a yearly basis.  The winners were:
  • First with 20 are two members: Pete KZ1Z FH#08 and David WB2HTO FH# 693
  • Second with 15 Lou W8LEW FH# 707
  • Third with 8 Micheal DO3BOX FH# 619
  • Fourth with 6 Antony AD1Y FH# 537
  • Fifth with 5 Larry N3LFC FH# 02
2) For service to the Feld Hell mode: An Ambassador from Hell can also be any radio amateur who has done something extra ordinary to promote or enable the mode of Feld Hell. This award is by nomination, and the selection of the winner will be by the entire BOD of the Feld Hell Club. If you wish to suggest someone for this award please email Brad with your nomination.  Brad requests that no owners of commerical enterprises be submitted (authors that charge for their software, manufacturers of interfaces etc.)  Programmers, authors, and others who give freely of their time and efforts to promoting Feld Hell (donations, aside) are welcome for nomination.

 
Award Rules
 
1) No signed QSL cards are required for any of the awards.
 
2) For First Contact just send us a Word doc or Excel spreadsheet with the following information, (do NOT send ADIF or Calibro files - use only the requested log format) and PDF certificate will be sent to you via an e-mail.

3) For Friends Printing Friends, Friend in Every State or  DXCC all you have to do is fill out either this Word DocumentExcel Spreadsheet, or PDF with the indicated information (links to these documents also available at the bottom of this page.  Right-click to download to your PC.)
 
4) Please note that contacts made as WW1FHC do not count towards any Awards for your own callsign.  (You are allowed, of course, to switch to your own callsign during the QSO to record the contact for yourself, if you wish.)
 
5) With the exception of the DXCC award, Awards will be given only for QSO's made after the formation date of the Feld Hell Club.  The DXCC award both SWL and Transmitting Amateur accept QSO's from before the formation of the Club.
 
6) Non-member QSO's count for all awards with the exception of the Friends Printing Friends member bar Award.
 
7) To apply for an Award you must be a member of the Feld Hell Club, with the exeption of the Ambassador From Hell Award which can be awarded to a non member for services to Hellschreiber.
