Shared Ministry Partnership

Faith Lutheran Church is in a shared ministry partnership with St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Camden.

Every 5th Sunday we share joint worship at 9:00 am--the location alternates.

Pastor Kristen Schmid

Hello, I am Pastor Kristen Schmid, and I am very blessed to serve as pastor. I began in early 2021 after graduating from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.

My first career was in photography; I enjoyed listening to people’s stories and trying to create understanding between them and others through images. In ministry, I am privileged to share the good news of how God’s gracious love for us, shown through Jesus, connects to all of our stories.

I have lived in the Midwest for over 20 years (including a year in Jasper, Ind.), but actually grew up in northern California. I now live in Logansport with my husband and two sons.

I hope to welcome you in worship, in-person or online, sometime soon! God’s peace.

Married 39 years to Randy.

She has two adult children, Rachel and Nolan (married to Julie), and two grandsons, Connor (4) and Bennett (2). 

Member of Faith Lutheran Church for 28 years.

As you can tell, she also enjoys fostering Monarch caterpillars.
