PS3 Cooling Fan

This only applies to the launch "fat" models CECHA01, CECHE01, CECHB01

The early PS3 models came with a 19 blade cooling fan made in Japan, or a 15 blade cooling fan made in China. The 19 blade Japanese cooling fan cools the system better then Chinese 15 blade version.

If your replacing your cooling fan, or discover you have the 15 blade version, consider tracking down the 19 blade fan to maintain or upgrade your heat disapation.
