About Your First Appointment

Your first appointment will take 1.5-2 hours for a thorough wellness exam, which includes:

• A complete health history review

• Discussion of your health goals and expected treatment outcomes

• Education on how acupuncture Chinese medicine can help you with your health goals

• Treatment plan, including the number and frequency of treatments and when you may expect to see changes

• Acupuncture treatment and other therapies as appropriate, such as cupping, herbal formulation or dietary counseling.

Appointment Checklist

• Eat something before your appointment

• Wear or bring loose clothing

• Arrive 15 minutes early for first appointment paperwork

• Compile a list of current medications

• Bring relevant medical records, labs, and reports

• Allow 120 minutes for your first visit, and 60 minutes for return appointments
