WIFL TEAM & INDIVIDUAL RECORDS

Since the league became a "points league" in 1993 and implemented the Front Office Rules, accountants in the league have rejoiced. There's nothing like reducing reality to a cold, hard number. And any time you're dealing with cold, hard numbers, you have a basis of measurement and comparison. What was the most? The least?

With a full 19 years of generating "points", it's appropriate to start memorializing our highs and lows.

To be sure, the size of the league impacts records. The stars are spread a little thinner when it's an American League-only league. The stars are spread a little thinner when there are 15 teams in the league as opposed to 12. And when we switched from Front Office to Rocco Rules, we added 10,000 more pitching points to the total.

But asterisks aside, it's high time we at least began chronicling our highs and lows. So, we begin with some team and individual records.
