Simulations With Intelligence for Fire Training

Financement AGIR-POLE-MSTIC 2016-2019

The SWIFT project is interested in modelling and simulating the population behaviour in the state of Victoria in Australia during a bushfire. The approach is agent-based modelling and simulation, with a BDI (Belief, Desire, Intention) architecture of the agents, to endow them with a realistic behaviour based on psychological theories, as well as on field studies and interviews performed after the dramatic Black Saturday bushfires (7th February 2009) around Melbourne. We will use GAMA simulation platform.
