| Ruth Joplin who is researching with a view to write a book about the Jopling (and the variant spellings) family. In the Richard Angus tree I have all spelled as Jopling and have not altered them, However Ruth has shown that some children's names are spelled Joplin in a family with a Jopling father, of course there will be other different spellings over time, and once documented the name difference will continue. The same difference of spelling occurred in the Angus tree one Angus family had children called Angas the name then continued.
