On 15 June 1758 at St John, Newcastle he married MARY DAY    b c1731    d. 1806    bur. 23 Feb 1806, age 75 in Carlisle. [NB the burial at Carlisle said she was the widow of Richard Angus but according to the source of Richards death ( Roots & Branches ) he was still alive in 1806.
