Bridgnorth Probus Club was founded in 1973. 

The club meets once a month at The Down Inn on the second Tuesday of each month. 12:30 for 13:00  (Except in March, when a Ladies Luncheon takes the place of the normal meeting) 

 

A two course lunch with table wine, precedes the meeting. 

In the summer months bowling practice at Top Green follows the meeting.

In the winter months a guest speaker, or a speaker from within the club, may follow the meeting.

 

The club organises outings in the summer months and it also runs Golf and Crown Green Bowling sections.

Following a presentation by Nigel Macknight about the British Attempt to bring the World Waterspeed Record back to the UK,  Bridgnorth Probus Club are proud to report that they are helping to sponsor the attempt by being "Quicksilver" Corporate Club Members and wish Nigel Macknight and his team every success and would invite other clubs and individuals to join up as "Quicksilver" Corporate Club Members. It's only £95 and includes a mounted certificate and your club's name on the boat.
