Needle Felting and Pet Portraits

I began needle felting in 2005 and I am completely self taught. I saw a few items at a local folk festival and then I did some research on the internet and bought some wool and went right to work. My first project was my own Jack Russell Terrier dog "Imp". She can be such a clown sometimes, so she is always my inspiration to make more dogs.

One of my first horses - an Appaloosa Indian pony - went to a museum out in Wyoming.

I have since made many little dogs of many breeds and some horses, bears and a few other things -

some serious and some humorous.

I am always open to suggestions so if you want to see a specific breed of dog, horse or other animal that I don't have listed just send me a note and I'll see if I can work it in and will give you a head's up when it is listed.
