Hi, I'm PJ and this is my Home Page...

ABOUT ME...

I'm a keen amateur photographer who enjoys all things digital. I mostly like photographing plants and landscapes as they are easy targets ;-) I've been taking photos for many years now, basically capturing my daughter growing up and other subjects, I got into digital photography with the arrival of some of the first compact cameras and progressed from there to the DSLR & now Mirrorless cameras that I own today. I have an interest in Infrared Photography too and own several compact conversions.

I used to work as a Senior Software Engineer which sounds more exciting than it is but am now officially a Snr. Project Planner having changed jobs after almost 25yrs in Software. I sometimes wish I could work in photography but that would probably become boring if I did it day in and day out.

I am an avid collector of tattoos and currently have several, including a back piece. 

My daughter, Julia is the most amazing woman and I am very proud of her. Although married now to her childhood sweetheart James, she has been my rock over the years we have shared together and is, and always will be, my best friend.

You'll notice from the image that this is a photo of my reflection, as with most photographers I prefer to remain behind the lens rather than in front of it ;-)
