Need Volunteers on Weds & Fri

APPD is one week from today!

We could use volunteers on Wednesday evening, 8 Oct., and Friday afternoon, 10 Oct. The need is much greater on Friday afternoon. Even if you won't be able to join us on Saturday, we would appreciate help earlier, if you are able.

On Friday afternoon, we will do initial set-up in the park.

We will start at a member's house around 1 PM and at Bishop Park around 2. The times are a little negotiable, but last year we needed about 4 hours for 5-6 people to do the setup. Bishop Park closes at 7, so starting at 2 gives us 5 hours, which is a nice buffer. If there are more people, things will go faster. If you can help transport items, we appreciate it if you can meet at the house (at 1).

Mostly, we will be:

* Transporting items to the park.

* Putting up canopies in the park.

* Storing and organizing items in the kitchen.

* Setting out flags to mark vendor sites.

* Organizing picnic tables for activities under the shelter.

* Posting directional and informative signs within the park.

Wednesday evening (~7-10 pm) is needed for organizing.

This will happen at a member's house. Mostly, this will be:

* Sorting items into boxes & labeling the boxes.

* Making check-lists associated with use of the boxed items the day-of.

* Making lists of additional items that must be obtained, altered, repaired, etc., before Sat.
