Status update: July 2009

With thanks to student intern Jean-Charles Antonioli, software for logging experimental data is now complete, and initial test data sets have been obtained. The logging software is complex since it has to collect position tracking data for each robot from the VICON tracking system, via an ethernet interface, contact each individual robot to get its internal status, via the wireless LAN, then put all of this data together as a set of time stamped records for later analysis. Jean-Charles is now fully testing and documenting the data logging system.
