Post date: Aug 12, 2009 5:53:08 PM

The Artificial Culture Project has been part of the inspiration for a project hosted at University of Warwick. I am the social scientist of the Project and also now one of the interdisciplinary team at the University of Warwick who have secured funding from the UK Economic and Social Research Council to hold a series of meetings for developing research networks on the issue of ‘Mimetic Factors in Individual Behaviour: health and wellbeing’. The project is holding a series of day-long workshops. The issues we have discussed in our Artificial Culture Project are relevant to these workshops. I will post more news as the Mimesis project develops. If you are interested in attending the workshops please contact the project secretary Ann Ryan Ann.Ryan@warwick.ac.uk.

Dates of workshops: 14th October 2009; 14th December 2009; 1st February 2010. There will also be a conference on 22nd March 2010
