Prestige and Skill

Prestige is scored as follows:

A "kill" is scored when an enemy vehicle can no longer move or fire, either because of direct attack, a crash during combat, surrender of all occupants, or other circumstance. The occupants do not have to die! If a damaged vehicle escapes to safety that does not count! Killing peds normally does not count as a kill (killing MONDOs for example would count).

*Ace is a character with five CONFIRMED kills (arena or road)

**Double Ace is a character with ten CONFIRMED kills (arena or road)

Advantages of Prestige

In any arena combat where cash prizes are offered, a character with prestige of 10 or better earns a percentage bonus equal to his prestige; that is a prestige of 17 earns a 17% bonus. In addition a character with a prestige of 15 or better gets a flat %25 discount on all new car purchases and repairs (for his own use only); prestige of 25 or better earns a flat 50% discount. This is in return for the champion's sponsorship of various brands of ammunition, autos, weapons, etc. The GM reserves the right to vary the depth of discount depending on the sponsorship deal the PC obtains!

Skill Points Awarded - This is in addition to point awarded for mission/adventure completion
