I set a goal of raising £3650
for Cancer Research UK
over my 365challenge year. I believed that was achievable, and it certainly has been, as within weeks, I had blown that target out of the water!
I've been helped in this by creating my 1%ers Club. I invited people to sponsor me 1% of my original target - £36.50 – that’s 10 pence a day If you don't fancy the 1%ers Club, of course, you’re free to sponsor me for whatever amount you choose - £1 to £100, and anything in between (or beyond!) – every contribution is very welcome, and very much appreciated. Whatever you can see your way to spare, you’ll have supported my challenges, but, more importantly, you’ll have supported the very important work of Cancer Research UK as they strive to find ways to tackle this terrible disease. You can sponsor me on-line by
clicking through to my Just Giving
page using the button below. Just Giving allows you to enter the amount you want to sponsor me for and indicate if you want to allow Gift Aid on the amount – Gift Aid allows Cancer Research UK to claim 28 pence more in tax relief on each pound you commit. Only UK sponsors
can take advantage of the Gift Aid benefit for the charity, I’m afraid, but anyone anywhere in the world can sponsor me! Acknowledgements
I've already had some great support from people who've been as excited about the 365Challenge as I've been:
I'd like to thank Paul at Total Support Training for help with my web design and hosting the site for me for free; Nick at Lemondrop Creative for designing our logo; Thanks also to Cath at Impact Apparel for helping me source T-shirts to promote the 365challenge at great rates! Great job, guys!
