Lessons.

1. Small parties essential in country where food is short, and

population potentially hostile.

2. More practice needed for grouping on D.Zs on dark nights.

3. Signals equipment must be packed more carefully, as two sets

were smashed during a drop.

4. Resupply worked well for B1, but was dropped blind for remainder,

owing to no lights being shown, as the parties concerned were

unaware of resupply drop dates. (This was due to broken sets).

5. The food problem was surmountable by small parties.

6. German speaking population was hostile or cowed.

7. Rubber soled boots leave conspicuous track.

8. Wisdom of using fog signal and pressure switch for railway

demolitions.
