- Domestic flights connect only Taipei’s Songshang Airport and Taitung. There are two airlines serving this route: Mandarin Airlines and Uni Air. You may book your flight with either of them online:

- Taiwan Railways serves between Taitung and most of the major cities in Taiwan. Ticket can be purchased online 14 days before the date of travel.

- There are buses connecting Taitung Airport, Taitung Railway Station and the Main Bus Terminal in the city center. You may ask the information desks for assistance. Bus fare is around NT$25.
- Taxi service is convenient at both the airport and the railway station. Taitung taxi charge a fixed rate rather than by meter. The fare between airport/railway station and Taitung County Hostel is around NT$350-NT$400.
