Prospect of Academic and Industrial Collaboration
Prospect of Academic and Industrial Collaboration
Under the “New Southbound Policy” of Taiwan’s government, a series of initiatives and projects is launched in this year to promote scholarly, cultural, educational, technological and industrial collaboration between Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries. This forum invites six teams of these initiatives and projects to share with the audiences their visions and missions. These teams are:
- Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation
- 2017 Overseas Science and Technology Innovation Center, Ministry of Science and Technology:
- Deployment of Agricultural Science and Technology Center in Vietnam (National Chung Hsing University)
- Taiwan Philipppine Joint Water Quality Research and Innovation Center (National Cheng Kung University)
- Medical Technology, Science & Humanity Development Center (as a Southeast Asian Business Hub for Mutual Exchanges with Taiwan Academes and Industries in Bangkok: A pragmatic action plan mediating through medical collaborations) (Pingtung Christian Hospital)
- Research Center on Plant resources and Conservation center in Laos (National Tsing Hua University)
- Malaysia-Taiwan Construction Project Management and Digital Technology Regional Center (Tamkang University)
- Center of Southeast Asian Ethnicities, Cultures and Societies (National Taitung University)
