Academic Integration

Social Emotional Learning can be woven into academic learning, and teachers are typically already doing this more than they may be consciously aware of. 

We can up our game in this area by being more and more intentional about our practices. PLCs can share ideas and align how they're making SEL connections (e.g., "It works well to use this visual to discuss emotions in a text."). These practices can be documented in unit guides, lesson plans, etc.
