Testing

Most 4-year colleges require the ACT test for admission. It is also used for scholarship applications. You can retest as many times as you'd like. 

Juniors are offered the option to test in April at RRC. All other tests must be scheduled through ACT. You can create an account to find dates and registration information.


Most 2-year colleges require the Accuplacer for placement in English and math classes. You will likely take the Accuplacer at the college campus during a visit or during orientation/registration.

The ASVAB is a test that is used for military service. It will determine which jobs you are able to hold after you enlist. Use this link for practice questions. All ASVAB tests are set up by the military recruiter that you are working with. 

10th grade students will take the Pre-ACT test during the year at RRC. This test gives students an early indication of how prepared they are for college courses. The test also gives excellent career guidance and can be the first step to planning life after high school
