Ethan Moll

Ethan Moll, 2017 Esperanza AP Studio Art Alumni, is featured in the October Asian American Arts Zine, on page 76! Ethan graduated from the Digital Arts Program at Cal. Poly Pomona in June of 2022, and he currently works as a professional Video Game Designer in Cosat Mesa! Ethan has also taught workshops on "The Creative Process" at Esperanza as a guest artist since graduating in 2017. Congratulations to Ethan and many thanks for his contributions to our Visual Arts Program.

We will have to contact Ethan for an update on his new world of video game design!


Annie Hua

Class of 2017, Parsons School of Design, New York City
Parsons is the #1 design school in the U.S. and among the top 3 globally. Here, the next generation of creative leaders engage in real-world learning and develop as critical thinkers and makers grappling with the pressing issues of our time. Annie graduated with a double major in June of 2023. We must catch up with Annie to see what she is currently working on!

Somer Magnin

Class of 2017, UC Santa Barbara (Undergrad), Graduate School, Northwestern University

UC Santa Barbara is ranked  No. 5 in the nation among public universities. As part of  Esperanza's art department for 4 years; Somer won numerous painting and drawing awards, as well as becoming 1 of only 7  international finalists in the  Chapman University Holocaust Art & Writing contest, (her artwork belongs in their permanent collection). Somer works in behavioral health and uses art on a daily basis with her ASD clients.

Jered Frigillana

Jered, 2019 AP Studio Art Alumni,  is currently attending UC Irvine and he is earning a double major in both Medicine and Illustration in order to become a professional Medical Illustrator. Jered won numerous painting and drawing awards over his years at Esperanza, and he was also the President of the Esperanza High School Art Club.
