A Message from your Counselor: The time is here to apply for high school! There are great high schools with amazing, unique, programs and we want to make sure every single 8th grader applies to high schools that best fit their interests, talents, creativity, and goals. Focus on doing your best this 8th grade year - that means maintaining your grades AND attendance. Yes, your high schools look at your attendance just as much as your grades. Attendance is extremely important! If you are sick or an emergency happens, make sure your parent/guardian provides an excuse letter so you will not be penalized.
You are not alone in this process, we are here to support you.
Step 1: Research your high schools! Do you want a larger school with 3,000 students, or do you prefer a smaller school with 500 students? Do you like art, working with cars, engineering, cooking, or computers?

Esperanza Academy's application is now available. Click here to apply. Keep in mind you will be placed on their waiting list. You will receive a letter mailed to your home. Make sure you choose school year 2023-2024 when you apply.
We will be hosting parent meeting sessions to support with the high school process.
