Erin Mawn, Library Media Specialist

Erin Mawn is originally from Rochester, NY. She received her Master's in History from Oswego State University in 2007, and moved to New England in 2010 to complete her second Master's in Children's Literature.

She has worked at several museums and taught college English courses at two colleges. She began her library career at the Portsmouth Public Library, and served as a library assistant for six years at a middle school in Maine.

When she's not in school, she reads, watches movies and blogs. She also builds dollhouses, basing many of them on favorite books and stories. They are frequently displayed in local libraries.

Whenever possible, she travels to literary-related destinations.

She lives in Milton with her husband, son, two cats, two rabbits and dog.

Lynn Warner, Library Aide

Although she was born in Connecticut, Lynn Warner has always lived in New Hampshire. She graduated from Exeter High School, and UNH. After her college graduation she worked part-time as a speech therapist. She became a classroom teacher because she wanted to spend more time with students. In June 2019, she retired from teaching third and fourth grade students after more than 40 years in education!

Ms. Warner absolutely loves being in the library at the Northwood School! Not only is she able to spend time with students, but she reads to the younger students and she is surrounded by wonderful books. She tells her friends that she has the best job in the universe.

She lives with her mom and their Golden Retriever, Max. She has three adult children who live in NH and Vermont. She loves to spend time with them, her five human grandchildren and her six grand-kids. She also has two grand-horses and five grand-dogs.
