Unit 1 - Studying Physical Geography Learning Objectives: 

These are the four learning objectives you will be expected to learn for Unit 1 on Physical Geography.

Latitude & Longitude:

In order to complete this assignment you will need to come to my class and use the map that we used for the assignment. You will not be able to complete it at home unless you have a very good world map. 

Instructions: Use the desk map of the world to list which country the coordinates are in.

Climate Regions Map & Chart:

Due to the nature of this assignment only half of it is posted here.  See Mr. Davis in class for the map half of the assignment.

Use this slideshow below to help fill in the Climate Region chart. Look at the pictures of the different climate regions and think about how the weather, climate, vegetation, animal life, etc. would impact life (especially life in the pre-modern world). So think about life in these areas in Native American or pioneer times and how those people would be affected.

Debido a la naturaleza de esta tarea, solo la mitad se publica aquí. Vea al Sr. Davis en clase para ver la mitad del mapa de la tarea.

Utilice esta presentación de diapositivas a continuación para ayudar a completar el cuadro de regiones climáticas. Mire las imágenes de las diferentes regiones climáticas y piense en cómo el tiempo, el clima, la vegetación, la vida animal, etc. afectarían la vida (especialmente la vida en el mundo premoderno). Así que piense en la vida en estas áreas en la época de los nativos americanos o de los pioneros y cómo esas personas se verían afectadas.
