Study Abroad Deadlines

Semester or Academic Year 

Submit the Mount Holyoke Request to Study Abroad by 11:59 pm ET on the deadline that applies to you.  Deadlines are firm!

The Request to Study Abroad is available in my.mtholyoke under the Self-Service Menu.  Select “Students”, then “Requests & Applications”.  

• Fall 2024 or Academic Year 2024-2025: submit your Request to Study Abroad by November 30, 2023 Deadline has passed

  • • Decisions emailed by MCGI on January 31

    • This is the only deadline for students applying to a college at Oxford University and the MHC Joint BA/MA Program in Geneva

• Spring 2025: submit your Request to Study Abroad  by April 19, 2024

  • • Decisions emailed by MCGI on June 30

If you receive need-based financial aid, apply for a need-based Laurel Fellowship by checking the box in the Request to indicate you're applying for a Laurel Fellowship AND complete the faculty recommendation section by selecting a faculty member familiar with your recent academic work from the drop-down list .

Applications for Fall 2025, Academic Year 2025-26 and Spring 2026 will be available in August 2024.

Summer or Short Term

Students applying for in-person short-term or summer programs for credit, are required to apply for approval from the McCulloch Center for Global Initiatives via the steps outlined here: No later than 2 months prior to start date of program
