The second GLaMP Meeting took place, June 23-25 2017 on the campus of Michigan State University.
The conference featured a three-lecture mini-course by
- David Damanik (Rice U) : The Mathematics of Aperiodic Order
and invited lectures by
- Thomas Chen (UT Austin): Dispersive theory for density matrices in quantum dynamics and kinetic theory
- Ian Jauslin (Institute for Advanced Study): Crystalline ordering and large-fugacity expansion for hard-core lattice particle systems
- Ramis Movassagh (IBM): Quantum Information and Many-Body Science
- Robert Sims (U Arizona): Localization Properties of the Disordered XY Spin Chain
- Mei Yin (U Denver): Statistical Physics of Exponential Random Graphs
In addition there were contributed talks by young researchers and a round table on careers in mathematical physics.
Thanks to all who participated!
