What is the Kerrisdale School PAC and Who is on the PAC?
PAC stands for Parent Advisory Council. The PAC’s purpose is to promote effective communication between students’ families and the school, to encourage parent/caregiver participation in educational activities, community-building events and decision-making; to strengthen the role of families in education and schooling; and to foster meaningful family engagement.
PAC Vacancies
We are hoping to fill vacant PAC Executive positions for the upcoming school year. It's the perfect opportunity for members of our vibrant community to step forward and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Kerrisdale Elementary. The PAC Executive includes a group of dedicated parent volunteers that want to build community and support our children and school. We recognize that these are busy times and we have a variety of volunteer roles that require different time commitments. We are always appreciative of whatever members can offer. Minerva's Fundraiser
We're thrilled to announce an exciting partnership between Minerva's Restaurant and Kerrisdale School PAC for the remainder of April! When you place a take-out order and present the coupon above, Minerva's will donate 20% of your order back to the PAC.
Here's how you can participate in this fundraiser:

LIGHTS UP MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAM
The Lights Up Musical Theater after school program is back!
This Spring, students will be putting on a musical version of The Lorax, inspired by the popular movie (and of course, book).
When: After School Wednesdays
Date: April 3rd to May 29th
Time: 3 pm to 5:15 pm
Grades: K to 7
Fee: $345* (*plus GST)
WIZE COMPUTING ACADEMY AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Wize Computing Academy is back at Kerrisdale Elementary School! They are offering two classes to choose from:
Interactive Programming with Python for children in grades 3 to 7 and Coding and Animation with Scratch Jr. for Kindergarten to grade 3 students. Classes are $290 plus tax and a one time registration fee.
AFTER SCHOOL STRINGS PROGRAM
Enroll your child in our after school strings program, taught by Charlene Lee who has over 10 years of experience with strings education.
Both beginner and continuing levels are available.
